Bluey Vuitton
P. cubensis · Bluey Vuitton
The collector’s mushroom — leucistic fruits streaked with the deepest cobalt bruising on the menu, a real Panama × Melmac cross with looks as memorable as the trip.
Genetics with a runway
Bluey Vuitton is one of the rare gray-market names that is a real, documented cross rather than a flavour label. The most authoritative, breeder-sourced lineage is Panama crossed with Melmak (Homestead PE), hybridised around 2014 — which threads it into the broad PE family through its Melmac side.
It is leucistic and a heavy producer, with a notably low spore load and the menu’s most dramatic bruising: handle it and it stains a deep, ink-like cobalt almost immediately. That visual drama, plus its productivity, is why it has become a collector favourite.
In the body it is above baseline but not extreme — around 1.2× standard cubensis — with a colourful, well-rounded, moderately body-led experience. A reasonable strain for a confident intermediate, dosed with the usual care.

The dose ladder
Bluey Vuitton runs modestly above a standard cubensis, so the universal ladder applies with a small downward nudge. Start light, wait the full onset, and step up across sessions.
The Blue Hour
Brightening colour, easy mood, a gentle body warmth. Social and navigable — a fine introduction to the strain.
Full Colour
Saturated visuals, emotional openness, a present and pleasant body. The well-rounded sweet spot.
Deep Blue
Strong geometry, introspection, time distortion. Plan a safe setting and consider a sober sitter.
The Indigo Pass
Ego-softening to dissolution territory. Experienced journeyers, prepared container only.
No independent lab figure exists for this cross; the 1.2× is reputational. Weigh every dose and treat each batch as its own unknown.
What to expect
A classic, well-rounded cubensis arc with a colourful visual signature and a comfortable body presence.
Come-up
A steady climb — softening edges, warming colour, a settling body. Less abrupt than the pure PE lines.
Peak
Colourful, layered visuals with emotional openness and a pleasant body load. Well-rounded rather than overwhelming at moderate doses.
Return
A gentle, contented descent into a mellow afterglow. A good window to rest and reflect.
Why people reach for it
Bluey Vuitton is the balanced, beautiful all-rounder — strong enough to matter, friendly enough to enjoy.
A confident first step up
For an intermediate ready to move past baseline strains without leaping into PE-class intensity.
Colour and body together
The combination of vivid visuals and a comfortable body load suits relaxed, sensory sessions.
Social journeys
Well-rounded and even-tempered, it sits well in trusted company.
Aesthetic appreciation
The dramatic bruising and striking fruits make it a favourite for those who love the mushroom as an object, too.
The pharmacology, for the curious
A real cross with a real story, and bruising that doubles as chemistry you can see. Here is what is under the cobalt.
01A documented cross
Bluey Vuitton is breeder-sourced as Panama × Melmak (Homestead PE) from around 2014. Through its Melmac parent it carries PE-family heritage, which underpins its above-baseline strength.
02Bruising is psilocin oxidising
That dramatic cobalt staining is psilocin and related compounds oxidising on contact with air. It is a visual cue of active alkaloid at the surface — striking here because the leucistic flesh shows it so clearly.
03A prodrug your body activates
Psilocybin is inactive until your body dephosphorylates it into psilocin, which agonises cortical 5-HT2A receptors and loosens the default-mode network. The well-rounded feel reflects a moderate, even alkaloid profile.
04Reputational, not assayed
No independent lab figure exists for this cross, so the ~1.2× is reputational. Standard cubensis tolerance applies — ~7 days to baseline, shared with LSD, mescaline and DMT — and it must never be combined with lithium, tramadol or MAOIs.
Far out — from the circle

Prettiest mushroom I have ever handled — bruises like spilled ink the second you touch it. The trip was just as colourful, warm and rounded, nothing scary.
Great step up from Golden Teacher. A bit stronger, lovely body feel, gorgeous visuals. Felt in control the whole way at two grams.
You can tell there is PE in the family tree, but it is gentle about it. Took it with two friends and we spent the evening laughing at the colours.
Community reports, anonymised and shared for context and reverence. Every body and every journey is different — yours will be your own.
Safety first, always
All standard psilocybin cautions apply. Bluey Vuitton is friendlier than its PE relatives but still above baseline, so dose with the usual respect.

Honouring this sacrament
Bluey Vuitton wears its genetics on the outside — that ink-blue bruising is the medicine making itself visible. Enjoy the spectacle, respect the slightly-above-baseline strength, and let a well-rounded strain do its well-rounded work.
